Subject: KFlop I/O ports
Tom,
I want to use JP4/6 as inputs for reading axis select switches for my MPG. The manual indicates they are LVTTL, but does not indicate whether they have internal pullup resistors.
Do I need to add pullup resistors?
Thanks,
Michael Rosenfield

Hi Mike,

JP4 and JP6 are LVTTL and forcing any IO above 3.8V will cause damage to KFLOP.

The first 8 of 10 IO on both JP4 and JP6 have 150ohm pull down resistors (the remaining 2 IO are high impedance)

If your MPG can be wired to switch them to 3.3V that usually works best.

TK
